The Darcy String Quartet is a group of Melbourne’s finest young musicians who have over a decade experience in performing, organising and liaising with clientele. We have absolute commitment to the highest of performing standards and are sure to add an exquisite touch to any event, be it a wedding, birthday party or corporate function.
We regularly refresh our music library and can arrange particular songs upon request. We perform in a variety of formations: from full string quartet, to trio, duo or solo violin, viola or cello. The quartet is the best acoustic arrangement of strings – it delivers a richness of sound and tone that is unparalleled. Trios and Duos are also excellent options for couples on a more limited budget.

Our booking fee includes:
– Highest calibre performing musicians, suitably dressed for the occasion
– Permission to take photos and or sound samples for your wedding video*
– Required music Stands
– Sheet music
– Unlimited consulations right up to the date of your wedding
– Co-ordination with Celebrant and wedding venue manager to ensure smooth musical transitions
– Helpful suggestions and music choice guidance
We will arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the booking time commencement and will set up and pack up without you having to worry about a thing.
The Darcy String Quartet services both Metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria; including the Yarra Valley Mornington Peninsula and the Bellarine Peninsula.
