Our wedding was the 7th June in the Dandenongs. Poet’s Lane was our venue and it was magical. The misty drive up the mountain was a beautiful beginning to our Winter wedding. The day went off without any issues, the weather was perfect (no rain yet overcast so our photos turned out beautifully) and the initial stresses were quickly forgotten once I commenced walking down the aisle with my Father escorting me and I was looking at my future waiting for me at the end with a huge smile. It was an amazing feeling and it was as though future Hubby and I were the only ones in the room with our music playing for us. Having our closest family and friends with us to share such a special occasion made us feel so loved and honoured. The day goes by so quickly and our one piece of advice to future couples is to take a step back on the day, as a newly married couple, to enjoy the moment. It is so easy to be overwhelmed and caught up with all that is going on that taking a simple moment to spend time together as a married couple was a beautiful part of the day. Looking around at the room and seeing everyone there was such a warm feeling to know they were all there for us two. We chose our vendors with requirements of class, style and professionalism in mind and all vendors delivered above and beyond our expectations. Looking back on our day, there isn't a single thing we would change.
