Donna & Luke | Real Weddings South Australia

We got married on 09/10/11 - booking the date before we realised the running numbers! The weather forecast was 17 and rain, however after being overcast in the morning, it didn't rain at all during our outdoor ceremony at Cummins House! The ceremony was relax and fun, with many guest commenting that it reflected us both perfectly - a blend of fun and seriousness, and that they could feel the love in the air. The reception to follow at the Observatory was everything we had imagined. The room was fantastic, the food and service brilliant and it was all topped off by Luke surprising me by singing 'When you say nothing at all' by Ronan Keating, which he'd organised with the musician we booked for the night. It all went too quickly, but it truely was the best day of our life.

Amanda & Stephen | Real Weddings Queensland

Our wonderful beautiful weather - winter wedding on the 13th August 2011 day, was so RELAXED, it was a day wedding, so the ceremony started at 11am, and lunch at 1pm. Photography was just for that short time in between. Our ceremony was simple, my sister read a reading for me, and the celebrant was easy to get along with! I had no time to drink - the people we had invited for the day, where exactly who we wanted to share it with, the day went as planned with no problems at all (apart from Stephen's suit not turning up until the night before), The people I had hired for the day, in every aspect, where all I could have asked for ! I was so impressed with them all! (they say I was easy to please) how could it be different with awesome suppliers in a small town! . People were so kind with their speeches, and their generosity was overwhelming, it just made us truly appreciate the people in our lives! We are honeslty blessed and felt it every minute of the day! We also had breakfast the next day - for people who wanted to come along and this was our way of showing the appreciation in the smallest way! The country is awesome! So pretty - made the perfect day for us! The entertainment was fantastic!

Tania & Jay | Real Weddings New South Wales

Our day was magical. It was one of the only sunny days in April and it was a gorgeous 26 degrees. We had a wedding with the theme "Love rocks". The details were in red black and white with a touch of vintage. The boys wore guitar pick boutonnieres and converse trainers. The ceremony was in the gorgeous Rhododendron gardens and it was decked out with music note bunting, poms poms and lanterns. The bridal party arrived in a 1950s Clipper Limousine Bus that had been fully restored and it was just gorgeous. We made a grand entrance as the bus could be heard making its was up the steep road to the ceremony. The music for the ceremony and reception was carefully chosen and guests were also able to submit favourite songs. Guests partied and danced well into the night and the dance floor was never empty. The cake was designed by us and made by Tonitto cakes and had our wedding colours complete with a gorgeous customised cake topper. We could not have asked for a more perfect day. It was amazing in every way.

Kerri-Ann & Keith | Real Weddings Queensland

Our wedding was on Saturday the 14th of May 2011, precisely in the middle between Keith's and my 26th birthdays; 11th and 17th respectively. We had our ceremony at Old Government House at QUT in the main hall. The bridal party walked down the grand staircase to our closest friends and family eagerly awaiting our vows. Photos were taken at Old Government House, Parliament House and by the Brisbane River. Our reception was held at the Fix Restaurant and Bar at the Port Office Hotel. The reception was beautiful and just one great big party thanks to our fantastic MC/DJ. It was personal and fun, just what we wanted.

Stacey & Tony | Real Weddings South Australia

I spent the night before at my mums with Lochlan (our son) my mum, my Grandma (who came from Scotland) and my 4 bridesmaids. We woke at 6am to our hairdressers at the door and the day began! At 12 the photographer and Tony arrived and began the photos. Tony and I did a photo together before the wedding at the corner of my mums house so we could not see each other. My Mum handmade my dress and used fabric fom her wedding dress. So it is very special and made with much LOVE!! At 1.30 the car arrived and we set off for the service at 2pm at Brougham Uniting Church. I had a Piper play as my mum walked me down the aisel. We had a laptop that Skyped to Scotland, where my Dads side of the family woke at about 3am to watch the service. After exchanging the rings Lochlan came up and Tony gave him a necklace to as we wanted to include Lochlan. The ceremony was simply, elegent, personal and intamate. Everything we wanted. After the ceremony we let a balloon go in memory of my Dad who past away a year earlier. It was sad but a nice moment. After some photos on the stunning steps at the front of the church we went to the Adelaide Botanical Gardens and had photos with the bridal party, before getting KFC and heading up to Belair Country Club for the reception. The reception was amazing beautifully set up, the food was perfect, the cake was everything I hoped for. We had a photobooth, which was a hit! Tony and his groomsmen did the Haka as a suprise to me which was a big hit for me as well as all the guests.PERFECTION!!!
