We decided to have our wedding at Hamilton Island. The idea of an island wedding seemed so magical. We wanted a simple, elegant and personal wedding. My wedding dress was the only one I tried on and it was a perfect fit, no alterations necessary at all. My veil was borrowed from a family friend, and was a long full veil. I had a beautiful bunch of cream roses which were so perfect. We had 45 of our closest friends and family. We were able to have a short holiday with our guests a few days before the "big day", which gave us time to relax and unwind from all the wedding planning. Our ceremony was at the All Saints Chapel, followed by our reception at Marinars Restaurant. The morning of the wedding went smoothly and I arrived in a cream Rolls Royce. I walked down the aisle at All Saints Chapel to “All my life” by KC and Jo Jo. When I first saw Scott I didn’t know whether to laugh or cry I was so excited. It was such a special and intimate day. The small number of guests made it relaxing, and gave us the time to enjoy the day with those that meant the most to us. We had our photos on the beach, and One Tree Hill lookout, which was on the top of a cliff. The view was amazing. The small group meant we could have a reception with the finest food and drink. The reception was a private affair with just family and close friends. Our stunning two-tiered cake was covered in perfect iced cream roses, in which we still have the top tier today. We spent the next 2 nights on the island and then flew to the USA for our honeymoon

Fantastic day in London with about 50 aussies invading the London Oratory church in Knightsbridge it was sensational. Having my Dad walk me down the aisle and seeing Josh surrounded by such beauty and all of our family and friends was the best.

It was 30 degrees, but quite overcast so the sun was not beating down on us. We held both our ceremony and reception aboard a boat from the Docklands, which cruised up and down the Yarra River and into the bay. Several guests were a bit hesitant due to potential seasickness, but it was quite calm and everyone had a great time. We surprised everyone with our wedding dance, we had been having dancing lessons for 3 months prior and with the help of our dance teacher had devised a choreographed dance, which everybody loved. Our cake was beautiful and delicious. We also obtained a canvas that was prepared by a painter with cartoons of us, our wedding date and the first two lines of our vows. This was our guest book, everyone wrote on it with their best wishes to us.

The day was all that I hoped for, not without its hiccups... I spent the morning with my family and my bridesmaids (my sister and a really close girlfriend), getting hair and makeup done, and trying to find a new videographer... I actually woke up with the reddest eye possible, but I thought "I'm not letting this stop me, what are you going to do?". I rode to the church with both of my parents and the most fantastic car people. Naturally I walked down the aisle with my Dad, I wouldn't have wanted to do that with anyone else. Seeing Paul at the alter, words can't explain the feeling that I had. The ceremony was great, followed by photo shoot. Our reception was at Manor on High in Epping. The first time that Paul and I walked in there we were amazed by it and knew straight away that this was the place for us to celebrate! I think one of the most nerve-racking moments for me was to walk into the reception for the first time as "Mrs" to have everyone there waiting and looking, despite the fact that they are your closest family and friends, but it was really good. The nerves settled and the partying began! I had one of the best days of my life!!!

It was magnificant. It was 30 degrees, so very hot. My matron of honour wasn't sure if she could make it, as she'd gone into labour, however the hospital gave her permission to attend the ceremony. The ceremony was beautiful and simple, and the people most important to us where there. We had 4 photo locations after the ceremony, and then an afternoon cocktail reception at the local racecourse. Given that we did the wedding on a tight budget - we are both still students - you couldn't tell at all. Everything was wonderful.
