Meet Beth & Tim

We met through a mutual friends that were dating at the time, she took me to a party they were having and we hit it off from then. I actually took one of his drinks from the fridge and he caught me drinking it

The proposal

He somehow got me to organise my own birthday dinner at 1 of my fav Italian places in Canberra and he popped the question while waiting for our table. I burst into tears as I realised what he was doing, it was embarrassing in front of a restaurant full of people. He said he was supposed to wait til dessert but he was way too excited

Your Wedding Day

It was amazing… I’m sure every bride and groom say that but the day was beautiful. We were in Cairns at the Colonial Club Resort, we had planned to get married in the gardens there but as it rained all day we got married on the decks there. We got married at 4.00pm so we had the whole day to take our time and chill out. the ceremony that was done by Tim’s cousin was very emotional. Afterwards we headed to Trinity Beach and had photos on the beach and rocks, luckily the rain stopped just enough for us to get some amazing photos.
Our reception was full of fun. laughter, great food and dancing. Tim is a Torres Strait Islander dancer and with some of his cousins and uncles performed during the night.
