Meet Kylie & Luke

Luke and I met while we were both studying a Bachelor of Human Movements degree at university, at Queensland University of Technology at Kelvin Grove in 2006.

The proposal

While on a overseas family holiday to America, Luke decided that it was the time to pop the question 2 weeks into the holiday. We had been awake since 2am in the morning as we had to catch a plane from Florida to New York and then drive to Niagara Falls. We had been going all day and Luke waited until 9pm just before the fireworks over Niagara Falls to propose on July 4th 2009 Independence Day. I was totally surprised as I did not even have a clue. It was very romantic, and memorable.

Your Wedding Day

The day was absolutely perfect, we could not have wished for anything else. The weather had threathened to rain all day but held off until 10pm that night. The ceremony was beautiful and walking down the aisle to see that special person who you want to spend the rest of your life with – Luke standing there was amazing, such a beautiful moment. Everything went exactly how we both imagined it and was a great day to spend with all our family and friends.
