Meet Mary-Jane & Phill

Not a very romantic story but proves you can meet your future husband anywhere! I finished work late on night and caught the train home, my husband worked on the train as security, I knew some people he knew and we were introduced…..

The proposal

After dating for 6 years, we finally decided we wanted to get married, we went shopping for the ring and then i wasn’t to know when I would get it, one afternoon, he surprised me with it!

Your Wedding Day

A truly magical day. I stayed at my parent’s house with the 2 bridesmaids the night before and in the morning we had champagne breakfast, then the hairdresser and makeup artist arrived, the morning went so fast and before I knew it we were leaving for the church! Arriving in the cars and seeing everyone there to see me was the most amazing feeling, walking down the aisle I was so calm and sooo excited I was saying hello to everyone, we had a harpist play during the ceremony which added to the romantic feel. The ceremony was beautiful and went for 20 mins! I had my niece and the groom’s sister do a reading. After the ceremony we went for photos (which are amazing) to a junk yard, and on top of a hill, very different locations but brilliant.

We returned to the reception about 6.20pm and were introduced to the room at about 6.40pm, the room looked magical with fairylights across the back of the bridal table and clustered into the centre of the room. I had silver chair covers and purple sashes to match the colour theme. The food was fantastic, and everyone had a brilliant time.

The day went so quickly and I wish I could do it all again. We left at about midnight in a stretch limo to our accommodation. A few weeks later I did a trash the dress shoot, where you just get unique photos in water and sand that you wouldn’t get on your wedding day!
