About Candice & Brad
Brad and I met through a mutual friend briefly, and then years later ran into each other at a party. We spoke about anything and everything for hours and parted ways until we came across each other on Facebook months later. We chatted for ages and during these conversations I learnt of Brads dream of racing speedway, Brad invited me to his first speedway race, and I went along with Brad and his mates to cheer him on, and from the night of that first race meeting I can’t remember one day since that we have spent apart.
The proposal
Brad actually proposed in a round about way within a month of us being together. He was very nervous as he knew it was very soon to be talking about these things, anyone that knows Brad knows that he is terrible at making decisions about anything, so for him to decide that I was the one so soon was very special. Brad and I fitted perfectly from the very beginning, so I had no hesitation at all, and we began designing my engagement ring together. Once my beautiful ring was finished we announced our engagement to our family and
Your Wedding Day
After the engagement Brad was very keen to make me Mrs Lunn, but I had one catch! I wanted to be married on a particular date – the 25th of January, getting married on this date made us the 3rd generation in my family to be married on that day. I left it up to Brad to pick the year – and of course he picked the following one. Which meant I had 4 months to plan a wedding!! Thankfully the date fell on a Wednesday which meant I had my choice of any venue or supplier with no trouble at all! I somehow in this short time frame managed to have a my beautiful Pronovias dress come all the way from Spain to meet our tight deadline, we had just enough time to get my very special ‘Something Blue’ Manolo Blahniks, my bridesmaids dress tailor made by Charlie Brown and all the other running around done. Phew! We picked to have our ceremony and reception at Inglewood Estate – having the whole day spent on the one gorgeous 25 acre property made it so much more relaxing and easy. We were married in their gorgeous little chapel and had our fun and relaxing cocktail reception on the rustic country style grounds – which suited us down to the ground! The day went off without a single hitch and everyone still talks about how fun and great the day was. I am so thankful we chose Beth at Emotif Photography to capture our day, as every time I look at the album I am taken right back to those precious moments of the day we became husband and wife.
