Meet Steph & Matt

We met at the local bar in Olinda – Kelly’s Bar & Kitchen. Matt was so friendly and I knew after about 3 weeks that I was head over heels with him.

The proposal

We went away to the King Valley and stayed at Mt Bellevue. We walked up to a place called “The Lookout” to watch the sunrise and he proposed. It was really stunning

Your Wedding Day

I had so many expectations about what the day would be like and although there were a few hiccups throughout the day, for example: the photographer turned up two hours late, the groomsmans suits were missing one of the vests so Matt had to run out last minute and purchase one, Matt’s car-key broke in the ignition and immobilsed his car and it rained (which was a challenge because we were getting married outside).

Although all these things didn’t go to plan, the day was still everything I had hoped for…. I got to marry my best friend and the actual ceremony was just beautiful! It was made even more special because our beautiful daughter was a part of the whole day.

If I could offer anyone advice, it would be to get married at least 2 hours prior to the reception to enable sufficient time to say hello to guests and get the photos taken with minimal stress due to time restraints.
It really was a beautiful day!
