Meet Fleur & Pete
We met at a christmas party, we were both invited to by different mutual freinds, I guess you could say we were both party crashers!
We were on the same bowling team and at the end of the night, he used one of the oldest lines in the book. “im new in town and dont know many people, can i get your number” he had moved to melbourne 6 months prior.
A week later he called and the rest is History!!
The proposal
I was in a grump that day, so who knows why he chose that day.
He left the house to “give me some some space” and headed to dry cleaners where he picked up a suit, put it on and headed to my dads to ask permission.
He then picked up a loius Vuitton Padlock and came home to get on bended knee, only to find a house full of people.
He stripped the suit off and acted normal for rest of day.
While cutting cauliflower later that night he popped the question. Not quite his plan 🙂
Your Wedding Day
We were set to get married on the Rooftop of St Kilda sea baths, only to wake up to the wettest day in march, Venue had to be changed at 11am the day of the wedding!!!
My Maid of honor went into labour early, 2 days before wedding ,I was so worried that she would miss it, was a stressful lead up, But shes made it from start to finish to be by my side..along with her 2 day old baby boy.. Truly amazing.
Ceromony and reception was held at Red Scooter St kilda
Cleabrant was Greg Evans from perfect match, which caused some laughs
Guests dined on an assiette platter of Chicken, salmon and steak all on one plate to save meal swaps and desert was roming pink fairy floss served in martini glasses..and candy bar.
I wore a self designed White tafetta ball gown dress,with a Diamond and pearl headpeice and lace cathedrel veil.
Bridesmaids were on Black, with draping pearls down the back, carrying Orange prasoles and orange rose wrist corsages.
Boys all wore personalised Nikes.
Grooms had our names and best man and Groomsman were etched on the back , In our colour scheme of black and orange.
Even with the stessfull lead up with babies born and heavy rain, our day was truly beautiful and glamorous filled with Love, laughs and tears.
Love it when people say its the BEST wedding they have been too.
