Over 15 years’ experience facilitating unique ceremonies, Susan can help you create one true to your relationship, that can be everything you have dreamed of.
I was authorised as a civil celebrant by the Commonwealth Attorney General in 1995. Since then I have performed hundreds of ceremonies, from intimate elopements to complex rituals. It has been a privilege to receive an insight into what ritual means for the families with which I have worked. My clients have been drawn from neighbourhood friends to overseas couples, for whom I have been able to conducts ceremonies in French, German and Indonesian.
Over the decades I have been able to gather a rich repertoire of ceremonies on which to base my advice on ceremony design, and am committed to listening to your needs and ideas for your wedding.
There have been many changes in the Civil Celebrant Programme since its beginnings in the 1970s, and I have trained many new and existing celebrants while maintaining my own professional development annually.
Couples, too, are increasingly discerning in the choices they make for their wedding day and I am aware of the vital, yet subtle rôle played by the right celebrant for you. The words you say to each other are the essence of your day and should be carefully considered, and the tone and style you envisage for your ceremony should be honoured.
I will endeavour to make your ceremony warm and memorable and will deliver it with sensitivity and dignity.
I will also attend to all the legal requirements of your wedding and will advise you wherever possible on any concerns you may have.
I am a foundation member of Australian Marriage Celebrants Incorporated and work in the Blue Mountains, on the Northern Beaches and throughout the Sydney metropolitan area.
I invite you to explore my website and contact me for further information about your ceremony.
