There is only one thing I have loved longer than I’ve loved my significant other (who I met when I was just barely a teenager) – and that’s books. I’ve never been any good at remembering things, but one childhood memory I will never forget is the moment I realised how reading opened up so many new worlds to me. Obviously my brain has filed this away as a pivotal moment in my life. Heck, it’s a pivotal moment in any book lover’s life, and hey, so is getting married. Why not combine these two great loves?

With a bit of creativity and a willingness to DIY, it’s super easy to incorporate all manner of books and words into your wedding. The level of commitment you put to this theme is up to you. It could be used for anything from small details like vintage books as wedding favours to vital factors of the day such as actually getting married inside a library.
